Definition of “Profile”

A “Profile” means information about an individual. These individuals are typically Bangladeshi scholars, professionals, academicians, and entrepreneurs living abroad. However, we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to broaden the scope of profiles.

Except for premium paid users, we do not use email addresses or other contact details to communicate with individuals whose information is included. It is the responsibility of users to review these Terms each time they visit the Platform.

1 Purpose of the Platform

grecdatabase.com is a global directory created to help researchers, students, and professionals connect across educational institutions and organizations worldwide.

  • Academic networking
  • Informational reference

It is not intended for marketing, solicitation, or commercial data usage. We reserve the right to publish advertisements at our sole discretion. Advertisements are not connected to the profile being viewed.

2 Eligibility

  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • You have the legal right to submit the information you provide.
  • You will use the Platform lawfully and ethically.

3 Profile Information & Public Visibility

Anyone may submit a profile about themselves or another individual. We do not verify identity, authority, or credibility of submissions.

Only public social profile links (LinkedIn, Google Scholar, university websites, Facebook, personal websites, etc.) may be displayed. Email addresses and phone numbers are not publicly displayed.

If third parties collect information from this Platform and contact an individual, grecdatabase.com is not responsible for such actions.

4 Accuracy of Information

All profiles are user-submitted. We do not verify or guarantee the accuracy, authenticity, or completeness of any profile.

Users are responsible for keeping information up to date. We reserve the right to approve or deny modification requests at our sole discretion.

5 User Responsibilities

  • No spam, unsolicited contact, or lead generation.
  • No scraping, harvesting, or automated data extraction.
  • No identity misrepresentation.
  • No unlawful or misleading content.

We reserve the right to remove content or restrict access if violations occur.

6 Content Ownership & License

Users retain ownership of the information they submit. By submitting a profile, you grant grecdatabase.com a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and use the content to operate and improve the Platform.

7 Profile Removal, Masking & Data Deletion

Users may request deletion or masking of a profile through:

  • An official organizational email address, or
  • A verified LinkedIn account message.

Requests must be sent to the project owner, Aemers LLC (www.aemers.com). We may take up to 30 days to review a request.

8 GDPR Rights (EU/EEA Users)

  • Access personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion
  • Restrict or object to processing

9 Intellectual Property

All Platform design, branding, structure, and non-user content are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

10 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, grecdatabase.com is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform or reliance on profile information.

11 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

12 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America. All legal proceedings must be brought in Richmond County, Virginia, USA.

A mandatory 90-day communication period is required before any legal filing.
